I want to create a future podcast where three or four of us sit down and talk about our online MA class. I am hoping to find one person from up to four different programs, and just sit around a microphone and talk about what our experiences have been. If you are willing to do this, please post here or pm me.
I feel this could be a useful podcast for people considering doing an online MA.
Specifically, I think it would be good to find one person from Birmingham's program, Shennandoah, Sookmyung's local course, and another at least. I could also add a little about the University of Missouri, although I am just one class into it. If there were more schools, we could work them in or do a 2nd day of interviews for another small group discussion (or 1 on 1 as I record your thoughts). You won't be asked to say who you are (you could use your Dave's nickname or another, if you want).
I would first ask you to discuss the basic layout of the program and your experiences thusfar. Also, it would be good to know total costs including books, the amount of time you must commit to the program weekly, and how long it will take overall. Perhaps there could be discussions as to how applicable the course is to your current teaching job.
If we could round some people up in the next week, we could do it then, or in about 3 weeks, when I return from my Busan course.
Thanks. |

How about we try to get some areas of professional development together for example, MA's, online courses, intensive weekend courses, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, etc? It would be quite interesting to break down the things available post teaching as well (examining, management, scheduling, etc). Looks quite interesting. |

Well, I'd like to keep this podcast apart from that one. I plan on doing these every week, so I'll need lots of topics. |
