I may have to make some adjuments to my suit (torso), but I guess the shop won't do it.

Do you guys know any good tailor?

Walk down the street in Itaewon. Many people will say "Suit?" Ask one of them.

Mhh I'll think about Itaewon, thanks.

Tailors around Myeong-dong are welcome Smile

Go to Zenith in the COEX basement. They're in the Grand Intercontinental Hotel shopping arcade area.

How much do they charge?

For alterations? I don't know. For a suit, you're looking at around a million won but it depends on the fabric you choose.

From personal experience, I think Hahn's is the best tailor in Itaewon. Most tailors outsource their work but they actually have an in-house shop near their storefront. I think Zenith does an overall better job and I like their cut better but you do pay for it.

The thing is, the tailors will be friendly if you want alterations to a suit they made, but perhaps not suits that were made elsewhere.

Maybe I'll try Hahn's.

I've been to Hahn's and finally got a new suit there... the person seems to have done a good job. And not expensive I'd say.

Thanks again for your inputs guys.

i just had my first suit made by alpha custom tailor in itaewon. it's a skirt, jacket, and shirt... for 400$.

i love the suit, and he swears he'll charge less for any subsequent suits. but i'd really like to know how much anyone else paid for their suits.

It starts from 450$ for a jacket and a pant at Hahn's.

I have heard good things about Kangs in Itaewon. I know a few people who purchased pants and suits from him. The only warning they gave is to make sure that the rear fits properly.
