|
|
I've been here for five months, and the boiler has begun to switch off after a few minutes when I want hot water. After a minute or two, it switches off and blinks "07" and "97", and I'm left with a cold shower.
My co teacher is out of town for three weeks so I have no one to translate should I ask my landlord for something. Anyone have any ideas what can be done here? |

You ran out of gas. You need to get more. |

More gas? They refill the boilers here? How much would that run? |

Most apartments with fewer units still use the 200lb LP tanks that must be switched out. I would contact the apartment security guy of the manager, and have them look at your unit. They can switch them out quickly and the LP guy probably forgot or something when making a delivery. OR the unit may be on it's last leg which happened to me in the dead of winter. Not a pleasant thing when you consider we use floor heat in Korea. Someone at your apartments should know how to look at it quickly and tell you what the problem is.
You only pay the gas bill, and the units get shuffled at no up front cost to you. There is likely a set of refilled tanks ready to hook up, but the gas guy or the landlord has to do it. |

Does your cooker work? If so it's not that ur outta gas. More likely, you need to open the valve to top off the water in your ondol system. |
