I went over to Ilsan today to visit a friend and on the way home I decided to stop in at Costco to pick up a few things. I was just about to head through the cash registers when I spotted a pallet of Tim Tams.
They are in a multi pack... 2 packs of caramel, 2 dark and 2 original for just under 12 000won.
For the uninitiated, these little gems are right up there with vegemite and meat pies as Aussie icons. A definite reminder of home.

Man, they have these at Olive Young now. I've heard they have them at HomePlus and Emart, too. Definitely Olive Young, they had a big event about it.

hyundai and lotte dept stores have had tim tams since at least august of last year, and the big deal is that they are only the greatest biscuit ever created... so long as they are slammed when eaten....

Tim Tams are cheaper at Costco than they are in Australia! They are on special at supermarkets in Brisbane today at A$2.29 a packet which equates to 13,545 KRW for a 6-pack. I might have to get someone to send some home to me in Aus.

I'm not Australian but I have to jump into the party here. I bought a bunch of tim tams from the Costco in yeungdeungpo gu cheon. I don't know, after the first pack, I declare that there might be some wax in the chocolate. I don't know, just a thought. I bought Tim Tams from the Aussie Shop and they didn't have a waxy taste to them.

I tried Tim Tams for the first time a while ago (after reading this post I just had to try them). The caramel filled dessert was quite pleasant but not as sweet as cholocate I am used to. Besides, these will add pounds like crazy.

You have no idea...

THEN you discover dipping them in milk and using them as a straw... they may as well be a mini-bong.
