OK, so I have to go to Seoul over night and very rapidly get my CRC notarized or whatever its called at the US Embassy for my new visa. Since the KTX Seoul Station is so close to the Embassy, only like 4 stops away, is it possible to just sit back in a chair and wait til morning? Or does it close like in other cities? |

Why not get yourself a piss-stained mac and a bottle of soju and join the tramps outside? Heck, you might even make enough change from passers by to buy yourself some ramyen for breakfast. |

There's a good sauna behind the station. You want to go behind the station and have Lotte Mart at your back, and then the sauna will be across the street at about 2 o'clock. It's up a steep driveway. |

Seoul Station, like all major train stations, are not places you want to any be during the night. If you are too cheap to get a hotel, then stay in a jim-jil-bang |

You can also wait it out at a PC bang. After 5,000 won, you should be able to take an early train back. |

Last time I tried to stay overnight in a major railway station, Marseille-1993, me and about 40 other "bucks" were rousted by police accompanied by dogs.
Train stations are dodgy places at night. PC Bang or hotel to be safe, thought the idea of staying in a sauna overnight seems dodgy to me too. This is Korea though, it might be fine. |
