| I need to obtain an affidavit in lieu of an apostille from the American Presence Post in Busan for my notarized local criminal background check (not an online version). Has anyone done this yet? |

Consular services are only available at the APP in Busan on a sporadic basis�every 2 months or so, generally. You have to check the American Citizen Services newsletter for the schedule. The last dates were July 22-23. The August newsletter does not list any dates in August when consular services will be provided at the APP-Busan. My guess is that they won't be there again 'til September.
