I am in the states now, and I have gotten a new passport while I am at home. A week from today, I will be heading back to Korea. I have my F2-1 visa (still valid) in my old passport. I have to travel with both passports on this trip. Will Korean immigration give me problems for not yet transferring my visa into my new passport ? |

Is your old passport expired? |

I could be wrong, but I believe as soon as you get your new passport the old one is not allowed to be used.
My opinion: You can't have 2 passports from the same country, unless you're Jason Bourne.
I suggest you talk to an embassy, consulate or immigration office about this immediately.
(I'm Canadian, and when they replaced my last passport, they cut the upper corner from every page and that shows the passport is not longer valid. I assume the same rules would hold for other passports. It would seem a little strange if you can hold multiple valid passports from the same country.) |

I am back in Korea now. I went to immigration yesterday and got my visa transferred to my new passport. |
