|
|
Anyone have any roof top party suggestions? My friend and I are single and would love this opportunity to impress and to get to know some of the local bachelors that we'd be inviting. Anyone have any party theme or games you'd suggest? I've just picked up some duty free liquor from the airport for some cocktails but would love your feedback on some good music to play, games to play and any party tricks/favors to have. I have a decent size roof top and want to invite some local bachelors, ajumas (limited space available) and some local friends we've met.
I'll update when the date is set. If anyone wants to stop by, you're welcome to stop by for some drinks.
Thanks! |

I've always found nothing impresses bachelors like a couple of bikini-clad women jelly wrestling. Not sure if you could source that much jelly in Korea though. Oh & it would have to be lime jelly of course. |

Cut a hole in a watermellon and stick a funnel in the hole. Fill the funnel with vodka and let it sit overnight so the watermellon has time to soak up the vodka.
Go to Costco and get a bunch of meat to BBQ. Men love meat.
Get some speakers or a stereo that attaches to an ipod and let people take turns being dj.
If all else fails use Stormy's idea or have a wet t-shirt contest! |

Get a friend to DJ and set up a turntable. You could do a party theme - like everyone dress up as something. Having a croc or something like that in a pool eating live mice also seems to be a thing men really like. And don't forget the E.
or you could start it off as a poker game and then after that party hardy.

Leave the fat ones at home of course.
As for the watermelon, soak the vodka first then add pieces of fruit later. Marinate said fruit in more vodka.
Sangria would work. Any red wine on ice with slices of fruit is perfect.
Body shots. |

All good ideas...here's a couple more:
Blow-up kid's swimming pool(s)...had many rooftop bashes where these were prominent (3 seems to be an optimum number; depends on the size of the roof...); these pools are great for people to take a dip/laze around in when it gets hot [I gues the jelly-filled, bikini-clad girl wrestling theme would work with this too].
Along with meat, men like REAL draught beer, so: KEG Beer...Alley Kat has a 'summer party special' with kegs and dispensing/cooling gear delivered, set up,then picked up when you're done...basic price is about 150,000 won per keg, and for every 2 kegs of Ale you order, you get a free keg of either Weizen or Pilsener delivered as well...absolute bliss doing the rooftop thing with BBQ, pools, assorted guests, tunes and REAL beer...
If you're interested you can call 010-2796-1674 (Ask for Chul Park), or
e-mail: [email protected]
with the pertinent info...you'll be sorted ASAP!
Cheers! |

The keg idea is great. Collect 20,000 won from everyone attending, do the buy 2 get 1 free deal and spend the rest of the money to make hamburgers. 20 bucks for all the beer you can drink and a hamburger would be a really good deal. |

This helps set the mood:
Fill (beer or other) bottles 2/3rds full with kerosene, twisting a wick in each (old cotton t-shirt material works fine).
Make it a tight fit, ensuring that the wick goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle and sticks out an inch and a half, say, from the top of the bottle; you can adjust this 1 1/2 inches to suit, depending on the size of the flame you want.
Briefly turn bottles up-side-down, to completely soak the wicks, before setting them alight, and set bottles around the perimeter of your rooftop.
Just be careful that inebriated revellers do not knock them over...either onto your property or the neighbours'! Oh, and don't use gasoline: explosive!
Caveat emptor...and enjoy! |
