hey all! I was curious about whether anyone here knows why the korean consulate in atlanta seems to be only open till 12? what is that about? i just tried to call to make my appt to bring all my documents and get my visa stamped etc, and it looks like they are closed by 12 according to their website. I'm a little worried now about getting an appt now since its the weekend and they are definitely closed for that. so has anyone been there for their interview? how long, what to wear, why the heck they would only be available till noon? maybe i'm just confused. anyways, yeah if you've been there let me know! |

I called to make an appointment for my interview. I am scheduled to head to Korea on the 28th, and I thought they would give me an interview sooner than the 20th.
I was going to send in my docs beforehand but was told to just bring everything on the 20th.
They are open until noon and then again from about 1 or 2 until 6 or so. My interview is at 3:30.

I went there a couple of years ago and dropped off my info and passport first thing in the morning and picked up my passport with the E-2 visa in it that same afternoon. That was in June of 2006 before the new regulations. They're quick and do good work there, but their English is limited. |

I had no problems with them the first time I got my E-2 a few years ago or just this past week for that matter. I sent my documents overnight with express prepaid and got my visa back within 3 days or less. |
