| Great swimmer and made a new World Record. The Korean commentators were really annoying and I had to turn the volume down 'cos I didn't want to hear about "Golden Boy". When Phelps got a new WR the commentators instantly went to how Park was good and would be able to get gold next time, no mention of the WR. |

I rarely get all "SWEET CHRIST IS HE GOOD" about a sports star but good lord, that man is a beast.
In the 200m freestyle, he was nearly half a body leangth ahead of everyone before he even SURFACED after the dive.
During the OMG PARK WON A SILVER slow motion replay, you can see all the swimmers neck and neck and then Phelps just pops up out of the water well ahead of the pack, before he even took his first stroke. |
