I was outside Korea when something very important came up which needs my attention for an indefinite amount of time. Anyway, I have money in my KB bank account that I have no way of accessing.

I have never transferred money back home, which I think you can only set up in person. So what can I do. Please help. I need my money.

Do I have to send my ATM card to a Korean friend? So they can transfer the money to their account and then to me.

Are there other countries that have Korean ATM's that will accept my non-international KB card?

I'm out of options. Any advice would be great...

First thing I would suggest is talking to the bank itself. The situation that you are in is not going to be a unique one ... and I am sure that there is going to be a way for you to work it out. In your situation that is the first thing that I would do. As long as you can prove your identity to them I am sure they will be able to help you.
