Just thought I'd share the word. Let's try to keep them in business.
Directions:
Suseong Gu, Jisan Dong.
Very near Dong-a Department Store. From Starbucks, cross the smaller street at the lights. Don't go across to Daegu Bank, cross to the large office building with the pharmacy on the corner.
Once you cross the street, turn right and go around the back of that office building. The restaurant name is Caribbean Restaurant. It's about 25-30 meters down the small street behind the office building.
Bus #564, #449, #401, #402, #400, #400-1, Yellow1, Express 3. |

| Awesome find. I can't wait to try that. It's literally round the corner from me. That'll cheer me up. |

i literally work a block from there and i get off in 15 minutes! i can't believe i've never seen this place all i ate for lunch was salad and am so f-ing happy about this! i'm always complaining about the lack of foreign food 'round this hood. do you know of any other places that are walking distance?
i'll recommend cafe franchesca (sp?) for great grilled chicken salads. it's just past the nathan's hotdogs (hotdog place on your left, dong-a on your right) maybe a couple o blocks. delicious!
anyways... thanx for the tip! |

Er... you may not be thanking me when you try it.
A few of us just finished dinner and we weren't very impressed.
On a high note... have you all tried La Bella Cuccina? It's mainly Italian, but have an awesome seafood platter avec Lobster.
It's still in Jisan, across from Suseong Art Pia... very near The 5 way intersection. It's fantastic.
There is also "IL Grappa" down the street from Dong-A , next to Herbie Coffee Shop.
In the food basement of Dong-A, there is a food stall that sells awesome cafornia rolls. The Pork, and Chicken ones are good.
There is also a British Cafe near Debec Plaza. They sell sandwiches and wraps and have a great tea and wine menu. The owner speaks fluent english.
From Debec plaza, walk west about 500m, until you reach a 3 way intersection with a Daegu bank.
Cross the street to head towards the gas station, away from the Daegu Bank.
Keep walking until the road forks into 2. It's in the middle of the split... called "Brighton" |

yep, went after work and not overly impressed... didn't see "jerk" anywhere on the menu... it seems like they meant seafood when they said caribbean... checked out the menu with a coworker, and decided to make something at home...
i work in the same building as the il grappa and eat there quite often with everyone from work... the food is delicious, cheap and they give you coffee or tea for dessert... plus they have english recipe books to browse for ideas when cooking at home... i was hoping that they'd put something tasty in the new building they re-did next to the daegu bank, but baskin robbins simply relocated... bummer...
where exactly is debec plaza from beommul/jisan? |

It's the Department store right next to the river, on the way to downtown. It has a big clock above the front door with a giant swinging pendulum.
ALl taxis know "Debec Praja". It'll cost about 4,000from Jisan.
Or take bus #402 |
