Koreans often say "Most of Koreans don't have time"
so I correct them, "Most Koreans don't have time"
is there a hard and fast rule when you can and can't use "of"?
For example, you can say "Most of the time, I am hungry"
or "Most chairs are broken"
and "Most of the chairs are broken."
The closest a coworker and I could come is that the "the" makes it more specific, and therefore you'd use "of"
Like "Most apples taste good"
"Most of those apples taste good"
