I'm moving to Korea very soon and In my spare time I love to play basketball. I'm from NY and there's literally a hoop on every corner I dont expect this in Korea but will I have trouble finding basketball courts in Korea? Is it a popular sport there? |

It depends where you are located...there are a lot of sports centers and every apartment complex should have a park nearby that has a playground area for kids, a soccer field, and a basketball court. |

I think you'll be alright.
I'm in a smallish town and there are a bunch of dirt courts nearby and at schools and such. A little farther away there is a cement smooth coat court.
I recently found out that some Koreans who can actually school me play at the decent court, so I've been going there a lot lately. Tons of fun, and met some cool people that way. |
