No folks, it wasn't raining today. I just saw a younger Korean guy with a golf-style parasol on the street.
Man, how gay! |

I use an umbrella all the time and why the hell not when you're standing out in the mid day sun when it's 30+ degrees out? |

There's a new invention, maybe you've heard of it? It's called a "hat". |

Wearing a hat, you can suffer from:
1. Hat hair. When you take your hat off, you look silly.
2. Soaked hat. Your head sweats, and with no where for that sweat to escape to, it absorbs into the hat making it smell like shit.
3. Heat. Your hat pushes your hair against your scalp, in effect, insulating heat, making your head hotter than without.
Personally, I don't wear hats. My face if too round and I just can't pull off the look of wearing a hat. I don't carry an umbrella like Nancy either. |

Dude! Why must you assume that just because a person using an umbrella he must automatically be assumed gay? And for that matter why are other people here so afraid of being called gay that they would rather risk skin cancer than caught using an umbrella in public? If I didn't know better I'd think that some people are having difficulties with coming to terms with their own sexuality. |

I don't know why I would assume that...I just do. Even here in Korea, where straight men tend to get away with walking around in skinny jeans and bright polo shirts with their collars turned up, if you are not an ahjussi or older, and are walking around with a parasol, I'd assume you were gay.

Sadly, it's true. I'd rather risk skin cancer than walk around with a parasol. Just not my thang. |

Does it really matter? Besides hats don't protect your arm from being tanned... or your neck... unless you wear a sombrero.. |
