Yes, I read this a few months ago. Freaky! The Police did a weak job I think.

Download the new Korean movie "The Chaser"

When do they ever do a strong job? I mean, when not being ordered by the President to do so.

Ah, don't recall seeing that thread. (JongnoGuru posted same link as me above.)Don't recall hearing about the killer either, despite being in Korea at least part of the time his rampage was in full swing. Strange. Was just reading a bit on the "crime library" site, and thought it was a worthy mention. Man, there are some disturbing stories on that site.

Check this one out when ya got some time, if curious about yet another sick story:

The only thing in there I found truly disturbing was in how easily it seems to be to brainwash somebody. Why the hell didn't she run?

I think psychology could explain a lot. She went through something unimaginable. She was scared and believed the lies of her captor. She must have felt helpless. She was dehumanized. It took place over 7 years, a long time to live through such a nightmare. No doubt the book explains it better and in more detail. A story like that really needs a book. I've never seen that book, but would buy it if I did.

LOL. Psychopaths are a dime a dozen. What really gets me is how the victims so often play into their own downfall.
