Hello there,
I am teaching a writing course next semester and was looking to you more experienced folk for help with textbook selection. This is the first time that a foreigner has taught the course as it is usually taught by a Korean.
The level is low...VERY low. I think starting with "self introduction" and then moving on to "hobbies and why you like them"..that kind of low. I spoke to the former Korean teacher who said she usually teaches and element of grammar and then the class write focusing on the specific element.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Many thanks |

Pearson Longman have a great range of texts for all levels.
I remember coming across a series called 'First Hand' and another 'Exploring English'. Good content that's suitable for adults. Quite entertaining.
They also have a lot of other resource books. Not sure how you'd gain access to them though.... |
