Hey, from what I understand about mobile phones in Korea is that a phone made outside of Korea does not work in Korea. Now is that the same the other way around?
Basically what I want to know is will my Haptic work in the UK using a british SIM. I don't mean international roaming as that will cost a bomb, but I want to be able to use it on a british network. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks |

artyom, can you write a short review about your experience with the Haptic? I just ranted on my Viewty and wonder whether I should have bought (or should buy next) the Haptic.
3G phones that use USIM cards should also work in other countries that use 3G networks. Some USIM phones (e.g. the Viewty) are also GSM compatible (ah, I forgot to mention this in my rant). So my guess (not knowledge!) is that the Haptic could work in Europe but perhaps without text and MMS capabilities (unless you find the settings where you input the url of the service). |
