Does anyone have any experience dealing with the Korean embassy here in Bangkok with regards to this? They were not too helpful when I called them about it before, so I thought I would post about it. What I am reading online is conflicting with what they told me. That being said, I read mostly about the Philippines with regards to this particular visa. Some other things I read are that they can be a bit off at the embassy here.

I have asked the person I know in Korea for his advice already. However, he had no direct experience with the F3 visa. His friend offered him some advice, but also there was no direct experience with this visa (ie. not married). Why not contribute something more meaningful to the discussion instead of asking random questions about me and who I know?

Indeed, I recall my own words. I take the information given here with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, it can be useful to obtain first hand accounts of people who have been through the process. They are not readily available. I really don't know anyone who is married to a Thai national and has attempted to bring their spouse on an F3 visa from Bangkok. Girlfriends ... yes. Wives ... no. Like I said, the embassy here isn't the most helpful group of people around.

Got it at the same time. just tell them that u want her attached to ur visa. They usually want a translated marriage cert but they let me slide on that and just made a copy of my Thai one.
