				| So, I'm starting to dabble in the fine arts of baking in a temperature control-less toaster oven. Any tips on how to bake in these would be appreciated. | |

				| Tip 1: Get a toaster oven with temperature controls, or buy a second hand oven.
Tip 2: If you don't, just make really really simple things.

I had a friend who had a very small temperature control-less toaster oven, and she successfully made cookies. But I think she didn't try anything more complicated than that, and neither would I.

Try it out and let us know how it goes.

You can't 'bake' as such in a toaster oven. Get a proper one or don't bother.

 | Nonsense! I used to bake banana bread in mine all the time, and it went over very well with my Korean coteachers. Usually in the same aisle as the plastic sandwich bags and stuff, you'll see disposable foil packages for camping. The flat trays with a foil lid were the perfect size for my oven.

 | Oh yes, there is baking that can be done in a lowly toaster oven. Natually, a proper oven gives you more options, but unless you want to shell out 300,000+ for one, stay with the toaster oven. I say bigger is better here so be ready to spend more than 30,000 or so. Here is a good site for recipes and everything else you could want to know about using a toaster oven.

				| I've got a nice big gas oven with a separate grill and four hobs and I didn't have to shell out anything for it. Mind you, it was the only thing that was in my apartment when I moved in... | |

You don't have to shell out anywhere near 300,000+ if you go for a second hand oven. I had an oven, but when it was already baking something, sometimes I used the toaster oven too; but then, I got one with temperature controls. I think baking would be very difficult in one of the small temperature control-less ones. Maybe put in an oven thermometer and check what temperature it's set at? If I wanted to bake and that was all I had, I'd buy a new, better toaster oven.

				| If you go to online shopping you can get one delivered to your office or pad. I scored one a year ago and it was only 55,000. It had a manual on how to cook all kinds of crap.
But if you can't read Korean....then it's not so easy
