I arrive in S. Korea on Aug. 21 but my current health insurance in the US expires on August 24 and my contract in Korea does not begin until Sept. 1, and I think I need to get the ARC card before I can buy my medical card, correct? My question is, should I buy a short term health insurance plan for the days I'm not going to be covered? If so, can anyone suggest a company or a specific plan to go with? I'm an idiot when it comes to insurance.
