I'll should be working a 1-10pm shift in Sinchon starting at the end of the month. Does anyone know of any good 24-hour gyms in that area? Does Korea have such a thing? I was in western China last year where the locals started to get sleepy around 6:30 so I'm not making any assumptions about Seoul one way or the other.
While we're at it, just how are Korean gyms in terms of prices and equipment? |

I think you might be out of luck. My gym closes at 11 pm, and the gym a couple of my friends go to also closes at 11. They are around 90 000 won per month.
Towards Hongdae there is another gym, but I don't know anything about its hours or prices.
In the neighborhood next to Shinchon (Yeonhuidong), there is at least 1 gym that is 24 hours. It would take about 15 minutes to walk there or you could take a bus. I'm not sure about the quality of their equipment, but I know it's a lot cheaper than the gyms in Shinchon. |

BM Fitness is 24 hours, I believe. If you walk out of either exit 5 or 6 (the one that takes you towards Ehwa Women's Uni, away from the Rotary) and walk up about 100 meters, it's in the basement of the Standard Charter building.
It's across the street from the Artreon Theater, if that helps. |
