I am looking for a store that sells quality skates. Not the crap that can be found at Lotte Mart. I found a bunch of online stores, but really want to try them on before I buy. Any ideas? |

E-mart had another store called Big Ten Sporting Goods that carried all kinds, from Rollerblade, K2, Soloman and Rossignols.
My girlfriend and I just bought Solomons and couldn't be happier. I got the Motion 8.0's for 150,000 last friday and they were happy to let us try on different kinds before we bought them. |

I got a pair of Rollerblades in Dongdaemun. They weren't cheap, but I really like the skates.
If you don't need pads, guards, etc..., tell the shopkeeper to discount you. I can usually get extra discounted when I tell them they can keep all that crap. |

Thanks guys. Am gonna head into town today or tomorrow. Couple of questions before I head out...
Gnawbert, is Big Ten Sporting Goods inside Emart? Do you happen to know if the one in Yongsan has one?
pkang, can you give me some vague directions to the place in dongdaemun? A subway exit number would be awesome. Also, what skates did you get?
Cheers. |
