Hi
Wondering if anyone can answer my queation? I am renewing my contract at my school. It expires on 14th September. I am awaiting my criminal record checks to come through. Everything should be sorted to go to immi by the end of August. As it is just renewing my visa, will they keep my passport for 2 weeks like before or is it shorter? The only reasn I am asking is I am going to Thaliand on the 14th September so will need it back by then!
Be grateful if anyone knows as I can never get hold of immigration on the phone to ask!
Thanks |

For an extension of an existing visa, they don't keep your passport. They only keep the passport when you are first issued the ARC. |
