Hi,

I need someone to give my 5 year old laptop a tune-up. Its slow and bogged down. Its a Compaq Presario 2200 with Centrino. Maybe add more memory or take off some old programs. I would really like my hard drive erased of images/old files/etc. If you can help or know of anyone in the greater Seoul area let me know. Please email me at: [email protected]

Thanks

Do you still have the original restore/recover disks?

IF yes, then what you ask is a simple matter of inserting the disk and follow the directions on the screen.

IF NO, then do you have a working copy of windows AND the device drivers (on CD is best) for your computer?

.

a nice simple way of cleaning up a lot of space is ccleaner

http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10315544.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=10837066

you will be amazed at the amount of space that is cleaned up if you have never run it before

Then run a couple of antispyware programmes (from the same site as the link).

Uninstall any programmes you don't need/use (can be done through ccleaner
