Does the US impose any type of limit when it comes to wiring money home. Currently, I am looking for answers via the IRS website and google, but, to no avail. Any direction as to where I can find the answer is much appreciated.

I rang my bank back in the U.S. and they said there is no limit to wire transfers into the U.S. I was quite surprised, because I thought the limit was $10,000. Bank told me that if I wanted to wire $100,000 there wouldn't be a problem. Maybe there is a limit imposed by Korean banks on the amount of money transferred. |
