While I could certainly build a PC that would beat that spec wise for 1,600,000, I'm guessing that that is a fair price for a nearly new Mac. Things are worth what people are prepared to pay for them. It's not for me; I'm not rich enough to spend that kind of money on a PC.

For those who know and love macs, he is not asking too much for his at 1.6. I have an offer for those thinking about switching to mac, but don't have the 1.6 to spend. Buy my 1 month old 20" iMac with 3GB ram for 1.1, and I will buy his for 1.6. Mine is the 2.4 core2duo with 250 gb hard drive. It's got the original box, receipt, and accessories as well.

Well, I figure I'll pitch the machine one last time.

Then it's off to see about shipping it back home.
