Does anyone here enjoy working outside? Obviously not in the terrible heat or cold. Where I am going with this is that there may be a new mountain bike trail building campaign starting in early November in Incheon and we may need volunteers. The work would be fairly hard but fun. Work would last 4-6 hrs tops. I am sure you would get a free lunch and might get a few beans for your subway fare. If there is interest I will post more details.

Cheers,
Crockpot

Ive loved the experiences I have had. Ive gritted my teeth on the way to a trail work day or two but working together for something nice is rewarding. In addition, one winter I dropped my gym membership when we had some pretty extensive projects.

I've set up a blog to keep people updated and garner attention.

Duncan,
Our first goal in respect to trees is to leave them stand. If it trips up the flow of the trail, so be it; their root system is far more important. If we have to plant trees that could also kill our budget as they are wicked expensive. We may plant a few. I'm glad you are interested in preserving and expanding green too.
