Do you suppose Dunkin' Donuts Japan has a similar t-shirt saying that "Takeshima is Japan's"? |

Well, that's nice. More nationalistic garbage.
Mind you, totally out of the blue, I had 5 students tell me today that they hated Japan.
I suppose if you want to impress Korean women, they might like a man wearing this...

I guess you change your marketing plan for your target consumers. Nationalism and chest thumping works well in South Korea. The Brainwashing continues.
Not so much in Japan where they actually debate two sides to an issue. |

A good question to try to answer would be "What is the underlying reason for this Dokdo campaign?".
I don't really know, but I think the Korean gov. just wants to drum up Korean pride as much as possible to try to keep Koreans working hard for their country and to stem the emigration of Korean professionals going abroad.
I don't think Koreans wear these shirts to educate the world about Dokdo because the world doesn't care about Korea's fight for a bunch of big ugly rocks in the ocean. If Koreans wore Free Tibet shirts, they'd get more attention. |

I guess the term "Preaching to the choir" comes to mind. |

How about this on a t-shirt.
"독도는 한국 땅이면 왜 일본해 중간에 있어요?" |

It must be incredibly humiliating for Japan's supporters to see their decisive defeat commemorated on a Dunkin donuts T-shirt -- and all they can do is rant and rave in their humiliation.
Terrible, really. |

I'd give you 100,000 Won just to see you wear that shirt around Hongdae on a Friday night. |
