Any recommendations for a hotel/motel near Seoul Station or Ewha?
Preferably no higher than $50. |

The area next to Ewha is Shinchon. It is full of motels. Sorry, I don't know any of the prices. |

Go out exit 3 (when you go through the turnstiles from the platform to the station proper, turn left; I think that's the exit number). Take the elevator, escalators, or stairs down to the ground level and turn right. Walk just a couple of blocks in that direction until you are at a crosswalk underneath an overpass (flyover). Cross the street, turn left, then immediately turn right. There are a few cheap hotels in that district. I prefer the second one up the road on the left side. The usual cost is 30,000 won per night. |

Is this near the station or near Ewha? |

Argh! I forgot to mention which station! Those are directions from Seoul Station (not the subway station). |

Similarly, about how long does it take to get from Seoul Station to Ewha? |

The Shincheon Station area behind the Hyundai Department Store is riddled with small 'Love Hotels'. Take your pick, and they're a lot closer to Seoul Station. If you're not prude or picky, those are a good bet.
The upside is that you're close to HongDae, which is a pretty cool area. Seoul Station is boring.
Enjoy! |

Short for the area around HongIk University (Dae=University). The subway stop is 'HongDae Station'. Go out exit 5 and hang a left up to the park and parking lot streets, or head up to the main gait and work your way out from there. |
