I noticed there have been a couple threads on what it's like to be overweight in Korea.
What about being handsome and trim? What has been your experience? Do people treat you better than back home? |

Yes, yes they do.
Being handsome in Korea is like being Jesus and hanging out with a crowd of Evangelical girls who O' after a prayer session let alone meeting the son of God.
It gets you the key to the city and all its womanly and material wealth.
All food will be free, all jobs will be great, and you will be asked 100x a day whether you are Nicolas Cage, Bruce Willis, Wesley Snipes, Hines Ward or Daniel Henney (depending on your eugenic history).
Korea is the Utopia, for handsome men. All will adore you (even the straight guy wearing a pink t-shirt and the straight guy friend he's holding hands with).
They'll PROBABLY release a flock of doves when you arrive too. They might not though since they'll be so busy showering you with rose petals and virgins their hands might be full. Personally, I got 18 rose petals and 7 virgins right in the face and I was pretty happy with it. In the current climate you can probably negotiate for more.
Welcome to Korea!! |

I'm surprised handsome people have to work jobs in Korea. Is there like a "handsome club" or something you can give me the address of? |

Dude, that's a secret. You have to get here to find out. One of the virgins they throw at you will probably give you the info you need though (they're well trained but still intact). |

You may want to consider who Koreans view as handsome. From what I see, Korean women are very different than Western women with respect to their taste in men. |

I'm good-looking!
Chicks dig me.
Never had to ask a girl out once.
There have been a few really beautiful girls that made me go "wow" inside. They all asked me out. This one time I was juggling 4 different beautiful girls at the same time.
And the best part of this story is that it is all 100% true.
I rock \!

Oh I'm not handsome. I'm a bucket of yuck. I just want to hear some funny stories about how looks effect ones life in Korea.
For example, has anyone ever had a young blonde and beautiful coworker who would do everything wrong in class yet would only receive praise at the hagwon? |
