This will take a lot of coordination, planning, and moola. From making sure your housing allows pets, to making direct arrangements with the airlines, it's doable.
Having all your vet papers in order, shots up-to-date is your first step. Hopefully your pet is spayed or neutered.
I think I read somewhere once that cats can go three days without having to relieve themselves--holding it. You may need that much time to set up a litter pan while you're settling in.
(wait for it... jokes about cat soup) |

It's not that difficult. Many of us here have brought our pets with us - and collected more once we got here. First go to pettravel.com. It will give you the airline and vaccination requirements. As the previous poster mentioned, let your new school know that you are bringing your pet with you. Other than that it is pretty simple. There are lots of responsible pet owners that look at this forum that will be able to give you the answers you need as you make your arrangements. |
