Does anyone know if I will be able to buy an English version of Madden 09 for the PS3 in Korea? If so, where? All help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Does that mean that there is no place in and around Seoul that I can go to physically pick up a copy of Madden 09 for Playstation 3 on August 12th? Also if I pre order from the website do you think I could still receive the game on the 12th? Your advice was helpful, just looking for a bit more information on the subject. |

I pre-ordered NCAA Football 09 from Play Asia and was extremely dissatisfied. Not only were they 2 weeks late in getting the game in stock, but it took an additional week getting to Korea. Granted, I chose their free shipping for Korea, but I was still unhappy about getting the game way late. |

Thanks for the heads up on your experience with the site. I am still trying to find the best way to get the game on the release date or as close to the release date as possible. There has to be someone in Korea who has purchased Madden games in previous years. How did you go about getting an English version while in Korea? Is online the only way and if so which online distributor is the fastest? I don't understand how there are plenty of places to buy the consoles, but little to no support of the content i.e. games or specialty stores to purchase games here. If they exist where are they? I know I am in a technologically advanced country and all, but there is something to be said for bricks and mortar. |

Oh, I ordered a movie from them once. I can't honestly remember, but it wasn't terribly fast. |

Stupid question--are the game discs for PS3/360 different by region? ie Would a game purchased in North America work on any console, or only a N.A. one?
I'm heading back to Seoul next week and haven't decided if I should get a system here or there.

Yes you are right. PS3 games are region free, whereas most games on the XBOX 360 are region locked. Some are region free on the XBOX 360 but most are not. EA is infamously known for region locking their games, the bastards. This means that even if you order a game (like NHL 2008) which was only released in U.S./Canada that it will not play on your Asian Xbox360. |

I use playasia all the time whenever I'm in Korea. I always use fed-ex to ship my games. Costs a bit more but you can have your game spinning in your console in under a week. |
