Or the rest of the Jamacian team, for that matter? Doesn't it seem awfully similar to the Canadian team in 1988?

I don't see an athlete with integrity boasting the same way he did in that 100m sprint.

I don't care about his boasting or his ego, Canadian athletes outside of hockey could have more of that.

He slowed up and he ran 9.69? Colour me skeptical.

BTW, folks, this is a good example of 'learning to spell' that only happens in Canada.

Celebrating =/ boasting. Phelps celebrated his win. Bolt boasted his lead before the race was over.

It didn't look like boasting to me,,he knew he had won and he celebrated it.

You must hate american football. When a game is in the bag, teams often shut it down and start celebrating together on the sideline.

He was dancing and posing before the race began.

I suppose it depends on your interpretation. It looked like he was having fun to me. Dancing and posing are just that.

Wait a minute! Didn't Joe Namath boast that he would win before he even played the superbowl? dude was on roids! who knew...

don't get me wrong, he could have cheated. He did however have pedigree(at least at the 200 m) and has prodigious talent. He didn't come out of nowhere and he did have a tailwind. I think he deserves the right to be innocent until proven otherwise.

Wasn't he tested numerous times before the race?

I seem to recall the Jamaican team filing a complaint because of the amouts of tests (4 in one week, I think).
