So in the past 2 months I have been getting Canker Sores on my gums like just above my dental line. I don't think anything has been stressing me out more than usual... but is there anything here in Korea (besides going to a Dentist which is expensive) that I could use to curb these things.

You could flush a little hydrogen peroxide on them and then when they heal brush with a little of it every day. You can buy it at Family Mart for 1,000 won per bottle. If stress isn't causing it maybe you have changed your diet in the last few months? Higher protein diets like "Atkins" can cause ulcers on your gums. Could try drinking some more fluids as well.

As a kid there was a period in my life where I'd eat tomatos with salt everyday. Sometimes more than once a day even. After awhile I got loads and loads of cankers. They went away when my parents took away the tomatos. Korean food is salty or is it the peppers????
Same thing happened in uni when I got Hep. Big nasty ones! One would almost go away and another would crop up. Have you got an underlying health problem?
Just a thought....

Too much acidity in your body. Alcohol, coffee, bad diet and stress. If you put an aspirin on them it dries them out. If you live in Seoul see the chiropractor as when your first cervicle vertebrae is out you will get increased acidity. Ask him to adjust C1.
