I've just signed on with two part times, with two different institutions (not private one-on-ones), and I was wondering what the best approach was when it comes to fitting schedules. More specifically, should I be open to both parties that I am working another position? On one hand, I believe it's good to be transparent and honest, but on the other, having either feel like they're being shafted or being a lower priority might hurt me in the long run.

What do I tell each party? And what's the best way to let them know?

It all depends on your visa class.

E2, you have to tell them (you need permission from both of them along with schedules AND the blessing of immigration before you start the 2nd job.)

F2/F4, none of their business. If one of them changes the schedule to conflict with you or your other job just tell them you are busy and can't accomodate them. If they don't like it then move on to another job.
