Hi all,
Im looking for some suggestions on what I could do for my last ever week of lessons for classes of 40 middle schoolers. I am looking for something fun that is not too stressful for me or the kids. I have kind of used most powerpoint games (jeopardy, top 5 etc) and I have already done an ESL olympics lesson.
What sort of things do you guys do for your last week of lessons that the kids will really enjoy? A good way to finish up? |

Learn something easy and do a game?
If your class is not too huge, one that goes over well with my students is making a few teams and when someone gets a right answer they get 5 seconds to add to a tower made of dominos or blocks or something. Expect lots of screaming when the lead team's tower crashes, sending them to the back of the pack.
For my last class I'm going to show some funny vids and have them guess the feelings and emotions, maybe do a beatles song on the guitar. |

| My coteacher suggested having the students make goodbye cards for me. So we spent a few minutes talking about what we did over the vacation (they studied, watched the olympics, and went to the PC bang) and then we talked about the olympic sports. Then they made goodbye cards for me. It went surprisingly well except for my boredom walking around the room while they made cards. |

| Dr Who, British Sci-Fi. Aims to appeal to families. My husband and I have shown bits and pieces of series 3 to kids from grade 5 elementary to grade 2 high school and they've all loved it. There are Korean subtitles available somewhere on the internet which work in Gom and one episode is 40-45 minutes long - perfect! |
