So I got one of those ex-pat magazines and it had the Hamilton Hotel pool on there.
If I go on Friday during the day or on any weekday will it be crowded meaning can I get a lounge chair, say from 11-2. And I don't have to pay or anything do I??
Do I have to bring my own towel? |

And the pool has very little space around the outside. It DOES fill up fast. |

If it's sunny, there will be a 30 minute line or so by 10am, both weekdays and weekend.
The chairs will all be gone by 10:45am, so get there early. |

Any place to do actual swimming in Seoul?

It's 12 on weekdays
A towel cost 2
A locker 1
a chair costs an additional 10
It's crowded any day that is not cold or rainy. Brace yourself for the manbikini

It's cheaper than any other hotel, there are usually no kids, the girls are freaking hot (string bikinis and high heels), and I think it's the only place with a dj where you can smoke, drink, and not wear a swimming cap. |

Yeah, I am not looking for MTV spring break wet t-shit contest, more relaxed enviroment but I guess thats not possible, sigh....
I don't want to have to pay nor fight for a lounge chair, that sounds like more of a hassle then down time |

The Hamilton is actually pretty tame compared to some of the overcrowded, nasty pools I've seen in Korea. I went to Caribbean bay last week and the water was nasty, screaming kids everywhere you turn, way too expensive and shitty food. I've been to 3 or 4 other pools around Korea and the only decent ones are at the really expensive hotels like Walker Hill, Lotte, etc. |

Well,
if its the only place I can smoke at and I did not realize at other pools I have to wear a swimming cap which I am not down for.
I guess in a couple of weeks I'll go at 10:00 on a weekday and make sure nobldy takes my lounge chair!! Although, it didn't look like a very nice pool for all the talk about it.
I thought it would have like palm trees and be pretty, not surrounded by ugly red brick.
What about the Hilton, I just want to go once before the summer ends, thats it |
