Some posters had some questions about the Atlanta consulate.

I had my E2 interview in Atlanta with Mr. Lee.

He brings all the applicants in for the interview at the same time. He asks one person at a time and after they may leave.

Here are the questions. (These were for the young ladies who were in there with me).
1. What do you know about South Korea?
2. What will you be doing? What is your job?
3. Where will you be? Where will you live? Where will you work?
4. How is Korea doing in the Olympics?
5. How will you handle Korean children?

Once the ladies were gone, he looked relieved and told me we could have a free talk.

Each interview took about 5 minutes.

Documents: I took my diploma, but because I had my Visa confirmation number they didn�t even look at it.
They have a self assessment medical form to fill out there if you don�t have one.
They just glanced at my contract and gave it back to me.

Dress nice and you will get quicker service and less attention paid to your documents and a nod of approval from Mr. Lee.

If you need something notarized, there is a customer service Kiosk in the underground mall/food court that is beneath the consulate tower that advertises they notarize. There must be a passport photo service as well, because another applicant didn�t bring one and they sent him out. He then returned shortly after with photos.

Don't be late. Even if you call first you will have to wait.

I had a much different experience at the ATL consulate. But then again, I live in the ATL area, so that is probably why.

My biggest tip is just making sure one has all the required documents.

Yeah, it was nothing like that for me. I don't think I even really answered a question. I had no visa number, I was dressed in jeans, and thats it.

Just make sure to have everything including a pre-paid evnvelope to your home address for them to send Visa.

This going to the embassy thing is a joke. I could of pissed on the ground and they still would be like, "Ok, have fun in Korea!"
