I know that each school is a little different, but does anyone know the dates of the winter vacation in Jeollanamdo? Bonus if you're in a rural area and get most of Feb. off, as that's what I get.

Dates for either the whole winter vacation or just the vacation that we get are fine.

Thanks in advance.

It totally depends on your school, and it is your school that decides when your holiday is. At least, that is how it has worked for us and our friends.
We have a school calendar (at an academic high school) that says there is no school for all of January and all but 3 days in February. However, I know for a fact that there is 'winter camp' the whole time. Our kids don't get any days off during the holiday, so that means there are teachers here all winter long as well.
Last year, we submitted letters to the principal requesting certain days off during the break, and they were quite accomodating. We'll do it again this year. But most schools will make you work at least 1 camp. We have to do 20 hours or something.
