With GEPIK you start whenever you step off the plane. They only have like 1 or 2 people handling the paperwork for all the native teachers in GEPIK, so delays are inevitable.

Just keep in contact and let them know that you are still waiting around.

3-10 days for mail service sending docs to the recruiter.
4-10 WORKING days for immigration or the POE to process your documents (look at the long end of that right now since it is the start of the new school year).

-best case, any day now,
-worst case, you still have 2 more weeks to wait + any delays if something is not in order.

Oh, and there is currently only one liaison person handling all the current influx of applications AND dealing with stuff from current teachers who are starting now AND dealing with stuff from teachers who are mid-term (Feb starts).

I'm in the same boat. It started when the GEPIK lady make an error on my postal code (CI4 instead of C1A), so I just got my contract this week. Apparently I'm stated to start on Sept 8th, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen, I still need to send for my work VISA which is going to take a while.
Urgh. This is starting to stress me out.
