A friend of mine was just offered a position at Global Kids International School in Mokdong. Sounds okay but the contract leaves a bit to be desired.
Is anyone working there now, or has worked there, or known anyone who worked there? Any info you have would help, be it a positive or negative experience. I've been unable to find anything via google or a forum search that might give any indication of what they're like.

Based on googling it, it appears to be just a regular run-of-the-mill hagwon. They really should not call it an international school as this is quite misleading.
I work at an international school and all together get around 11 and half weeks of vacation. I don't teach English. During regular work hours of 8AM to 4:30 PM, I teach subjects which I studied in college. English is merely the language of instruction.
Anyways, there are probably not any current openings at the actual international schools, including mine.
Tell your friend to find a job at a public school. |
