I haven't listened to any of your stuff yet, but I really need to start. It's almost 5 am and I need to go to sleep. But some of the stuff looks great. Thanks for your effort.

Thanks for your hard work. I've listened to all of the podcasts, and enjoyed them. Will listen to the latest tonight.

BTW: Harepau also sells guitars for those who didn't know. He sold me one at a good price, and even took a trade. He's great.

That was interesting though kind of depressing.

In the middle, he talks about how he came to Korea, and tells a hagwon horror story. He went through the IMF crisis, and I'm hoping to get together a few others to sit around and rap about that experience.

Thank you for the opportunity. My apologies for being tired. I didn't sleep well the night before. The other interviews are very interesting. Hoping to tackle some of the other good questions next time.

Good site man, thanks for doing this; it's good to get some English radio that's also relevant to my situation.

Thought I'd add a couple of comments about the interview.

I've also read the stuff regarding lack of sleep correlating with early death.

How come that this sleep deprived country has such a high life expectancy?

Genetics?

I think the generations who have had sleep issues are not old enough to die off yet. For example, my wife is in her early 30's, and she didn't attend hagwons much.

The three year rule is true. That policy is currently in effect in my university.

It is definitely true in some institutions.

The other people mentioned in the interview are they trained clinical psychologists or do they have a similar background as Harpeau?

In the second interview could you ask about other avenues foreigners might have available to them if they are in need of clinical treatment or other non-humanistic therapy.

Interesting, thanks.

An amazing range of ailments he deals with: depression, sexual abuse, rape, cheating spouses, cultural difficulties with couples, incest, overtiredness, alcaholism, loneliness, agoraphobia, etc etc.

Sadly it appears the esl community here suffers quite a bit. Either Korea brings this out of people, or the country attracts people with baggage.
