|
|
The other day I was sitting at my school getting ready for class, when a Korean woman (who spoke no English) came in from the justice department.
She asked if I would be willing to do a survey for the Justice Department about issues foreigners have with their lives in Korea. Seemed like a good cause, so I agreed. I filled it out, it took about 10minutes. When it came to where I would put my name on it, I said I didn't want to. She said that's fine.
Upon leaving, my co-teacher talked to her for a moment. When I talked to my co-teacher a moment later, I told her how I didn't want to put my name on something like that considering the questions (related to school taxation, medical, pay), not to mention my personal opinions of Korea (which are generally quite positive). Anyway, she told me the name thing is no problem, because the lady had a list of names of foreigners in this area, and had specifically came to see me knowing my name and school before hand.
So, anyway, story told. Anyone else had this happen recently?

If they came to your school, they already know who you are. |

Dude, that sucks! I think you'll be safe, but that is the worst survey I've ever heard of in my life! |

Well, the survey was mainly focused on my school providing me with what it should, and what I feel could be improved here in Korea, and what was lacking.
It was actually quite a good survey, and I don't feel like there were any trap questions to get me in trouble.
Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else had done it.
