I have a lot of shrimp in my freezer, and need some good recipe ideas. I make excellent scampi and shrimp with alfredo sauce, so those recipes are covered. Swing your recipes my way!

Have you tried watching "Forest Gump" for recipe ideas?

I had shrimp today, and I eat it like 3/4 times a week. But I have a kind of weird diet that's very low fat if you're into that.

Today I did brocolli, mushrooms, garlic, and green onions in just a bit of water and steamed them. When they were nearly cooked I added Kale and Swiss chard and a bit more water (sometimes I use chicken broth). Then after about 3 minutes I rinse the frozen, cooked shrimp in the collander, remove the tails, and dump that in.

Then I add bi bim go chu chang. Let it reduce a bit and you have a low fat, high protein, high fiber/veggie meal that, to me at least, tastes good. You have to like go chu chang, but if you do give it a try. I actually have this same meal substituting chicken breast and boiled egg whites, with beef or pork on special days, varying the vegetables. Strange, I know, but pretty healthy. If you don't want to go too low fat you could add chopped almonds/cashews/walnuts.

I had a recipe for the best Szechuan Shrimp ever. Alas, I lost it.

That sounds good! I'll have to try that one.
