I'm hoping someone can help out. I have a friend coming to Seoul, Nowon-gu for about a month during his vacation. He will be here in September and wants to begin training in Kumdo here and continue in Colorado after he returns to the US.
Is anyone studying Kumdo in or near Nowon-gu who could recommend a place where he can train? Thanks for the help. |

I figured I'd give it another shot. Anyone doing Kumdo in Seoul? Anyone? |

My Hapkido master was also a high ranking Kumdo teacher, though I forget the federation.
The gym is about a 5 minute walk from Seokkye Station, Nowon- Gu.
I've also seen one near Danggolgye Station, though I know nothing about it other than it's part of a federation. |

Thanks for the support Hapki. Sadly, I'm thinking I'll have to head up there and talk to some gyms. It's not overly convenient since I'm not in Seoul.
The worst part is I met a guy several years ago who taught Hapkido, Kumdo, Ssang-jeol-geon and a couple of other things in Nowon-gu. I of course had one of those mass cleaning, get rid of what you don't need, kind of fits about 2 months ago and now I can't find the card. Perfect timing.
Dammit! I should never, ever clean anything. |
