Whenever I post I get a ton of email from recruiters that ask me questions that could easily be answered by looking at my posting. If I wanted to send that info to each and every recruiter individually, I would.
Some of the recruiters are so pushy and stupid that I wouldn't sign with them, even if they found a job I wanted.

Only good thing I can think of by posting your resume on Dave's is the exposure your resume is getting. Sure you'll get a number of e-mails, etc. over small details that could simply be answered as you say by looking at the post itself. Recruiters in any career field do as you have described, it's normal. Simply respond or don't to their requests, it's totally up to you. |

I wouldn't do it. I'd be setting myself up to offers from bottom feeders. Bad outfits that want to avoid advertising can simply cruise the resume page, find my CV, and begin pestering me. Such is the technique of the desperate. |
