A Muslim has been found guilty of child cruelty after forcing two boys to beat themselves during a religious ceremony. The practice has caused controversy in Britain, but this is the first case of its kind to be brought before a UK court.

A case of Muslims being bad Muslims, or is it good Muslims, depends on which side of the fence you sit I suppose.

Well that's okay then, next time I'm at a wedding and some kid wants to drink my beer I'll buy them a few pints.

Safbar Zia, the general secretary of the Jaffria Islamic Centre in Levenshulme, said "How can you stop a child who wants to do this for his faith? We cannot discourage or stop them. "

You can stop them jumping out a window? You can stop them doing this. I didn't realize Islamic parents gave their children such free reign. Bunch of hippies.
