Hi,
I'm heading to Nepal in 6 weeks and want to pick up the following items.
Down Sleeping Bag (-20 C rated) I sleep hot, so a -20 bag ought to suffice.
Glacier Sunglasses, with side pieces (some say needed, some say not...)
Thermarest pad, (would like a light version)
I know that I can buy/rent these things in Kathmandu, but if someone has them and wants to sell, I may 'save the Earth' a bit by buying used.
Post or p.m. if you have one of these items for sale. I live in Daegu.
Thanks... |

Just asking. Are you going on your own or with a group? You can buy used gear in Kathmandu. People sell their stuff after their trips so they don't have to lug it back home. Take a good look at your boots. Hope you have the best bombproof things you can afford. Have fun. Sorry but I can't part with anything. |

Thanks for your reply.
I'm thoroughly stoked. Headed to Everest am I, via Jiri--the classic route. Thame--Gokyo--Cho La--Everest Base Camp--Chuchhung Ri.
I heard that used gear was somewhat scarce these days.
Anyway, I have almost everything I need, but I love to buy gear...especially Patagonia. |

Sound's like a good trip. There's a Patagonia store in Busan, but it's way overpriced. I never touch the stuff myself. I lean towards the Mt. Hardware/Marmot side of the store. |
