i want to find one with a really big selection of western movies.
in particular i want to find any of the following: anything by christopher guest (spinal tap, waiting for guffman, etc), any of the qatsi triology (koyaanisqatsi, powaqatsi), baraka, all of john hughes' films (particularly ferris bueller), 28 days later, anything by michael moore, etc.
is there an english-subtitled JSA? i saw it last weekend but it was in korean |

I would wager a fair percentage of the folk who go to DVD Bangs aren't exactly too bothered about which movie they watch... indeed, I think 'Titanic' is the most popular one because it is one of the longest movies available.
Chances of seeing any of the movies you wrote about, I'm not too sure - they tend to go with Hollywood blockbusters in DVD rooms so I think that limits your choice.
Most recent Korean movie DVD releases have English subtitle options on the disc, so if you asked the attendant at the DVD Bang to turn on the subtitles then you should be set. |
